On-Campus

We have seven locations across South East Melbourne, all conveniently located with parking and public transport access.

Each campus features a modern learning environment, helpful support services, and world class facilities.

Online

If you need a study solution that considers your work or family commitments, we have online courses that are perfect for you.

We offer 20 courses online, ranging from Certificate IV to Diploma and Graduate Certificate qualifications and deliver these in a virtual classroom with innovative learning tools.

Each online course includes access to assistance seven days a week and encourages you to learn at your own pace, in your own time.

These courses are delivered by our dedicated and specialist online team – Chisholm Online.

In the workplace

We deliver training in the workplace.
This may include work placement as part of your course work—so you get real on-the-job experience with your nationally recognised qualification.

We can also work with your employer.

We have apprenticeship courses to increase your skills and qualifications which can make all the difference in your career options.

  18. Bachelor of Engineering Technology – 3 Years Full-Time – Maximum Tuition Fee*: $37,440.00
  19. Bachelor of Design – 3.5 Years Full-Time or 6 Years Part-Time – Maximum Tuition Fee*: $38,400.00

Through our student centred training approach and emphasis on accountability, responsibility and ownership, the program equips students with relevant industry knowledge and practical job-ready skills.

With the Chisholm model, students engage with content in their own time prior to the formal workshops.

This allows us to tailor workshops around your specific needs and focus on key areas of importance for your business.
Throughout the program participants work together on projects that require real life skills such as teamwork, collaboration, problem solving, effective communication, innovation and resourcefulness.

At each workshop, participants take away a ‘best idea’ to implement within a three to four week period with the support of mentors/supervisors.
The ‘idea’ may be as simple as a commitment to adopt positive behaviour when dealing with difficult resident behaviours.
Participants will keep a log book of the ‘best idea’ in a journal.

Other key benefits include:

  • Content linked to the industry standards and outcomes
  • Employees improve their skills whilst the business benefits through increased productivity
  • Students receive a certificate of participation which can be used as evidence of professional development.
    Training and assessment staff
    Chisholm will provide appropriately qualified staff to deliver the training and assessment services.
    Training and assessment staff assist the Delivery Manager and client in delivering an outcome focused high quality training program incorporating compliant training and assessment activities.

Training and assessment staff are responsible for:

  • Coordinating workplace training visits through the client
  • Conducting compliant training and assessment
  • Supervising monthly required releases from routine work duties to participate in on-the-job learning
  • Assisting the Industry Engagement Advisor and client in identifying further training opportunities within the organisation
  • Serving as a liaison between client and Australian Apprenticeship Centres (ACC) where appropriate.
    Qualification of training staff Chisholm appoints only properly qualified staff to deliver training and assessment services. At a minimum, our training staff hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a qualification in the industry for the course they are delivering.
    In addition, Chisholm trainers maintain a close connection with their industry so that they are familiar with current industry practice and emerging trends. Your Chisholm teacher/trainer is an industry expert and a skilled learning facilitator.
