ACCOMMODATION

  • International students who apply for halls accommodation in good time are guaranteed an offer of accommodation for our halls of residence during their first year (providing they meet our eligibility criteria).
  • If you wish to live independently in a flat or a house there is a strong private-rented sector in Kingston and the surrounding areas, with a good range of properties available.
  • Our Accommodation Team in the Student Life Centre offers a free and friendly service to help you find the right place to live in private accommodation, including a student-to-student notice board to help you find flatmates, a property vacancy list and a list of local letting agents, as well as help and advice with housing issues.

TUITION FEES

  • Undergraduate degree=£10,750 to £12,350
  • Postgraduate degrees =£10,250 to £13,400 (however the MBA is £18,560)
  • Preparatory courses=£7,700 to £10,875
  • the cost of accommodation – either halls of residence or privately rented accommodation (in which case you should expect to pay at least £4,400–£5,000 per year);
  • living costs, such as food, travel, laundry and entertainment – we suggest you plan to spend approximately £6,500–£10,000 per year

CAREER-FOCUSED LEARNING

  • Our courses will help to develop the skills and abilities you’ll need to succeed in your career.

Many courses at Kingston University are vocational. This means that they:

  • are specifically designed to prepare you for your chosen career
  • offer you the chance to gain valuable work experience in industry or commerce
  • They often also carry professional accreditation from organisations such as:
    • Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA);
    • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS);
    • Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD);
    • the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM); and
    • The British Psychological Society (BPS).

Scholarships and awards

  • Kingston University offers a number of scholarships for international students, including subject-specific and country-specific awards. Bursaries for alumni and their families are also available.
  • The British Government offers a limited number of awards to international students through the British Council.

DETAILS OF SCHOLARSHIPS

  • International scholarships
    The International Office awards more than £200,000 worth of partial scholarships to international students every year. These scholarships are available to students who are classified with an ‘overseas’ fee status.
  • Loyalty bursaries
    Kingston University offers a 10% discount off tuition fees for international students who are applying for a full-time programme and are either: returning to Kingston University after successfully completing a programme here; or have a family connection to Kingston University
  • Faculty scholarships
    The faculties at Kingston University offer their own range of course-specific scholarships which are available to a variety of overseas and European students.
  • External scholarships
    Various sources of funding are available to international students from external organisations.
